A World of Possibilities
Digital Expertise
My most comfortable seat has always been on the bleeding edge of technology. I have a real passion for marrying business needs with technologies that align within a complex architecture and drive short- and long-term value. My excitement comes from working with organizations that listen to their customers and meet them in their channel of choice to deliver a terrific customer experience.
Helping organizations provide a targeted value offering and a seamless experience facilitated through the right technologies flowing through the right channels at the right time is tremendously rewarding. The rapid frequency at which organizations are adopting innovative technologies such as NFC, cloud data storage, and predictive software is transforming the way business is done and adapting to how consumers are modifying their behaviors. Not since the Silicon Valley boom in the late 1990's have I been so excited about vastly impactful technology transformations.
Global Perspective
An innate curiosity about the world around me has greatly shaped who I am, who I interact with and how I approach business. I've lived in 4 countries outside the US and traveled professionally and personally in over 50. Businesses thrive with thought diversity and the world only gets smaller through interconnected work forces and inclusive management styles. Back when I studied Cross-Cultural Management at Lund Univeristy in Sweden I learned the tremendous value there is for organizations to both recognize cultural differences as well as integrate them into an overall organizational culture. Change and globalization are realities all organizations face, and it all boils down to identifying and acting on the opportunities these present.
Over the past decade I've been particularly interested in how the world's developing economies (such as Indonesia, India, Brazil, Costa Rica) are leap frogging developed nations in terms of technology adoption and the rate of access across wide demographics. Access to the most sophisticated technologies or healthcare is no longer restricted to the elite and instead through broad adoption is available to a much larger population. I am especially excited to see education go viral at local levels for those who have access to streaming technologies or are involved in larger education projects.
